Conventions
- It is no suprise that the target audience of this film is too teenagers as it contains all the correct content to shock, wow and amazing young people.
- From the word go, the film contained typical conventions you'd see in a teen film, such as, gangs e.g. led by Sam (Noel Clarke), sex e.g. Alisa becomes pregnant with Trife's baby, and drugs e.g. Alisa and her best friend experiment.
- The genre of this film is mainly drama and I do believe it appeals to both girls and boys, as it has the violence and gang culture that would intrest boys and the targedy element of Trife dying (SPOILER ALERT) and his relationship with Alisa that would appeal to girls.
