Analysis - This movie is a right of passage for nearly every teenage girl and/or boy. It tells the tale of the typical high school in America, but it's actually the modern interpretation of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. It starts of with a new kid who joins the school and is immediately drawn to Bianca Stratford from the moment he sees her. However, she and her sister have a reputation for not being allowed to date any boys until after graduation by their father. This leads Michael and Cameron to devise a plan in order for Cameron to date Bianca. In my opinion, I think this movie is one for the ages, it has the typical and not so typical cliques that any school would have. The parties that most teenagers would have (but not as big as the one in the movie). But at the end it has the cliche 'everything ends well' ending which Bianca and Cameron get together after Bianca punches Joey Donner and Kat and Patrick get together after he buys her a guitar to say how sorry he was. This leads me to say that not only is this a good example of a teen movie, but it is a classic also.
