Characters
Characters in the clip of Donnie Darko show the audience an insight into a High School in America, showing what kind of people, stereotypical, roam the corridors.
The first character we see happens to be the main protagonist which is Donnie Darko, hence the title of the film. Immediately we know that character is important in one form or another.
He is followed by his friends walking behind him.
Another character we see is the school "rebel", which quickly sends out the message that he is someone who is nasty and rude, when exchanging a tense affair of eye contact and face pulling with Donnie Darko.
We also see the uptight, older female teacher who is very judgemental of the actions of the students.
