Juno Order of Titles Explanation
- 1. Normally with the Order of Titles at the start of the film they would have the Production Company ident. This is normally because the production company are the ones that put in the money to produce the film - therefore they essentially 'own' the film. This is shown in the order of titles of Juno at 0.16s. There normally is music in the background of the ident.
- 2. Generally straight after you would see the Distributor's ident. This comes second after the Production companies ident. This just like the first ident has music in the background. Instead in Juno, the second title was to create a setting at 0.30s. This would have been a decision made by the director.
- 3. After the production and distributor idents, you would normally see the film title displayed. In the case of the Juno Order of Titles, next was the distributors title at 1.50s, because there was the decision to have the settings before the distributor.
- 4. In the order of titles of Juno, they had other smaller production companies next, such as Mandate Pictures and Mr Mudd. These were less known companies than 'Fox Searchlight Pictures'.
- 5. From this point onwards, the names of the director and actors are shown. This can be swapped with the Film Title. However, depending on whether there are BIG names and how important they are to the film, this would indicate which order the names go in. Also, if there is a BIG director, their name may appear twice.
- 6. After the actor's names, the order in which the other contributors to the film were shown is: Casting, Costume, Music, Music Supervisor, Co-Producers, Film Editor, Production Designer, Director of Photography, Executive Producers Produced by..., Written by..., and finally Directed by...
